I quit my job after I found out that I was going to be a mom. I was so happy to be able to quit my job and sacrifice the money as my husband said that we would make things work somehow. I decided to use cloth diapers and nurse as that was going to be saving us a lot of money from the onset. I quickly became a coupon queen and even shopped online for the cheap car insurance that was going to allow me to stay home with my baby and cook and clean all day while raising her. My husband was thrilled that I was saving money and could not believe that we were making it on what he made alone. I even had people asking me how to save money. I held classes at my house where stay at home moms came with their kids to socialize and I taught them how to stretch a dollar. I showed them how great vinegar worked as a cleaner all over the house and how it would not hurt the babies or the animals in our homes.
Soon I was paid to show new moms how to set a budget and how to help them stick with it. I could not have been any happier than I already was, until I found out I was pregnant with my son a few months after my daughter turned one. I did not plan on having two kids together back to back and my husband was just as shocked as I was, but we were both so happy to be able to have that time together and I knew that it was a special time in our lives. We could no longer afford vacations but that was okay with us and our kids.
