Greetings!
I am Kiara Wilson, the 2010-2011 President of the Lambda Zeta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. It gives me incredible joy to be a member of what I believe to be the greatest sorority known to mankind. I am privileged to be able to lead such a dynamic group of young women who strive to uphold the principles that our illustrious Founders and courageous Charter members so deeply believed in. 

Founded on the campus of Howard University on January 13, 1913, by 22 fearless women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has since grown into an organization comprised of over 250,000 college educated women and 940 chapters. The Lambda Zeta Chapter, chartered on March 23, 1974, was the first African-American sorority to be established on the predominately white University of Alabama campus. For 36 years, Lambda Zeta has held its ranks and continues to be recognized for its countless educational programs, scholarly achievements, and its committment to serving The University of Alabama community. It is the aim of our members  to serve the people and to help those in need as much as we possibly can. Collectively, we believe in leading by example and providing young adults with a positive standard to follow.
